Birendra Kumar Das Institute of Education Pharmaceutical Science was established in 2022 by the Birendra Kumar Das Educational and Charitable Trust to commemorate the contributions of Mr. Birendra Kumar Das, a renowned social reformer and strong supporter of educational development. The institute reflects his vision of spreading knowledge and empowering society through quality education. It is a self-financed institution founded under the leadership of his son, Mr. Bishnu Pada Das, the Founder President of the college.

The college is affiliated with the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development and has been approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi to offer the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) programme. With an approved intake of 60 students, the institute focuses on providing high-quality pharmaceutical education, practical training, and professional ethics. The institution aims to develop skilled pharmacy professionals who can contribute effectively to the healthcare system and serve society with commitment and integrity.
